Arbury Camp

I spent a while on Tuesday evening poking around the wasteland north of King's Hedges road. There's a plan to build on it, but currently it consists largely of grass, weeds, and long-abandoned junk.

The most interesting feature is the graffiti under the bridge where the A14 crosses the abandoned railway.

There is extensive colorful graffiti there. I've already posted one of the walls, which is less than half of it. The punk is my favourite bit.

Even the rails and the junk are decorated:

Yes, the decorated junk somehow personalizes it more than tagging does... I'm in two minds as to whether I'd like to know who's behind it: somehow the anonymity, or perhaps at least psuedonymity if that's a word, is part of the charm.
